Calling all petrol heads, the Didsbury Car Show rolls into town next month and promises to be a fun fuelled day out for all the family to enjoy! A superb event in the Didsbury calendar, the car show was first held within the leafy settings of Didsbury Park in 2010 and returns in July for its ninth year running here in the village. This year’s theme is cars with character so we can expect to see interesting entries from vintage sports cars to modern day classics, with the event organisers making space to accommodate up to 300 cars. This is a great opportunity to get together with the family and enjoy an afternoon in the sunshine seeing some fantastic classic and vintage cars, monies raised at the event goes to the very worth while Oxfam UK Poverty Programme, helping local people. New ‘Home Safety Guidance’ has been released by the Electrical Safety Roundtable (ESR) to help landlords meet their obligations and ensure that tenants’ lives are not put in danger due to unsafe accommodation.
