Look out for Santa who has swapped his sleigh for a more modern conveyance!

School children will lead carol singing round the tree, while drinks and nibbles, kindly proffered by local traders, will add to the seasonal cheer.

Kids can enjoy free festive craft activities in Didsbury Library, from 5.30pm on 29th November with the main event starting at 7pm till 9pm.

Organised by Didsbury Traders with Didsbury Community Association. Thanks also to Didsbury Civic Society and Didsbury Blues City in the Community.

Zaranda Bar

A brand new cocktail bar and social nightlife space coming soon to Burton Road, West Didsbury!

You may have noticed the redevelopment taking place over recent weeks at the former One Lounge Bar premises on the corner of Burton Road & Lapwing Lane, the bar owners are now in the final stages of refurbishing the space to make way for Zaranda.

Coming soon! The annual Didsbury Beer Festival returns next month and promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Expect over 100 craft beers, ciders and perries, coupled with delicious hot and cold foods to appeal to all. This much anticipated event brings the community together at St Catherine’s Social club on School Lane over the last weekend of October and is a great opportunity to try a range of craft ales whilst catching up with neighbours and friends. A variety of live music performances will feature over the weekend to make for a great atmosphere! The event is managed and staffed entirely by volunteers and the festival is now on the look out for staff for this year, so if you can spare anything from a few hours to a full weekend see @dbf_beer to learn more!
