Coming soon! The annual Didsbury Beer Festival returns next month and promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Expect over 100 craft beers, ciders and perries, coupled with delicious hot and cold foods to appeal to all. This much anticipated event brings the community together at St Catherine’s Social club on School Lane over the last weekend of October and is a great opportunity to try a range of craft ales whilst catching up with neighbours and friends. Calling all petrol heads, the Didsbury Car Show rolls into town next month and promises to be a fun fuelled day out for all the family to enjoy! A superb event in the Didsbury calendar, the car show was first held within the leafy settings of Didsbury Park in 2010 and returns in July for its ninth year running here in the village. This year’s theme is cars with character so we can expect to see interesting entries from vintage sports cars to modern day classics, with the event organisers making space to accommodate up to 300 cars. This is a great opportunity to get together with the family and enjoy an afternoon in the sunshine seeing some fantastic classic and vintage cars, monies raised at the event goes to the very worth while Oxfam UK Poverty Programme, helping local people.
