Landlords should be aware that the Government Issued How to Rent Guide has been updated and a new edition will be available from tomorrow, the 17th of March 2023.

This is a vitally important document that has to be issued by the landlord or letting agency on the tenant moving into a property, failure to do so can prevent the issuing of a section 21 notice at the end of the tenancy.

If you are a let only landlord, this kind of procedure can be easily overlooked, especially alongside the vast ocean of other legislative and regulatory documentation that has to be followed or provided.
